Vegas Shoot with Alyson & Ryan
This couple is SO darling - Alyson's absolutely gorgeous and SUPER nice and Ryan is a hunka hunka sweetness. They oozed loveliness. I had SO much fun shooting them in Vegas with Chris + Lynn, and a few other forum friends, that I'd shoot them any day of the week! We were outside Bally's at 8pm in low-light conditions with only a hand-held mini light. I think I'm getting a handle on these tricky lighting situations!
2. This wall with the yellow curb line... fun!
4. LOVE the lines in this one!
5. Love the COLOR in this one - and their SMILES!
6. I think I'm enlarging this one for my wall. LOVE the light playing off the shadows.
7. Moments. "How does it make you FEEL?" the great Joe Buissink says. Plus I am a sucker for the mans hand on a womans neck and cheek like that. Yummy!
8. This silver/red conversion is tasty. LOVE her look in this one!
9. Yet another moment. LOVE these shots!
10. My other favorite. LOVE the lines, colors and how she POPS there at the bottom.
Q: Have any comments? I'd love to hear what you think!

I was writing down all my favorites...and realized I wrote them all down. Are these professional models? Because you make them look good. I love the shots with the couple in focus and the background all dreamy. And... the moments you capture with the private smiles ... LOVE them. How did you... start? These are fabulous.
IF you ever come to Nor Calif... PLEASE let me know... I want to book you to take pictures for my family.
7777777777777777hot.hot.hot.hto==aio76295490-0%@$%$^&909-=-e Wow!!!! I really like number 7. I could say something wonderful about everyone of them though.
You are wonderful.
They are all beautiful. You are SO good.
LOVE your work. That couple is yummy enough to eat. And your lighting is impeccable.
Shannon - These are fantastic images!
If you're ever near MN, drop me a line and come shoot with me... PLEASE!
<>< Johnny
Thanks everyone for your kind compliments!
QS. They might be models but I think they're just a cute couple that volunteered. We hadn't known them before but it was easy to get along because they were just so niiiice. As for being in NorCal; my SIL/BIL/nephew are moving to San Jose in May so we'll come out for a visit this summer. Will let you know!
Johnny. You are DARLING! Glad you're back on the forum. Thanks for the shooting offer because I WILL take you up on that if I find myself in Minnesota (who finds themselves in MN?) LOL. And you do the same if you find yourself in Utah this summer!
Wow! Absolutely stunning!
You are one talented chica.
Shannon these are HOT!!! I love the lighting and the post processing! Let me repeat HOT!
Great job, Shan. Got any pictures of the guy's face? We only got to see him from the side or far away. You're right on with being a sucker for a guy's hand on the neck/face. LOVE IT!
#2, #8, and LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN makes me melt like BUTTAH!
You are very talented and all, but I like WHO you are the most.
Thanks for the LUV! I realized after looking at the pics that I don't have a straight on of Ryan, dangit. He's SO good looking too! Thanks for the reminder :o)
7 and 8!
CJane... 7 and 8, who do we appreciate? :o)
Gee, I wonder why I want to have you shoot my photo?
Ever since I first started looking at your work I noticed your attention to light and shadow . .. don't know quite how to describe it, but in the world of poetry we talk about a poet's "voice" - that distinctive something that identifies the artist's work.
Your work with light is part of your photographic voice. And I have to go with # 3 .. is that it? The blue and yellow-complimentary colors and his shadow, the form against the wall - stunning.
oops . . . it's #2
jase and i were working undercover down there in vegas....but, shannon when our pics are lookin' this HOT you can use our real names! LOve 'em!
I'm completely in love with the timeless quality of that first shot. To me it seems that that image will age so well and be at the forefront of an albumn shown in 60 years time!
Love it, perfect!
All stunning photos. If I had to choose a personal favorite, I'd go with #5.
After a while trying to find out your friend Azucar's real face (besides what she have as a "face" at her site) she gave up your blog to another commenter, as a clue to her face searchers. So I followed the link that she put at her last post and there I found your cyber-space.
Your shots of Azucar's baby shower were sweet and VERY professional.
I can tell from far.
I love pics that shows the playing game beetween ligths and shadows. My favorite is #5. Candid but well-detailed pose.
PS Please keep posting your pictures, we need eye candies in our life more often. :)
I think 6,8, and 10 are my favorites! Well done!

Wow, all the LUV! Thanks all :o)
Clyde, thanks for searching through my blog - hope you found more than Azucars mug interesting haha. Come back for more!
Very nice.. sometimes different lighting situations can be scary but you are rockin' the low light!
I'm a well-behaved cyber-stalker! I'll be coming back often to check out your photography adventures. You count me in.
PS While my girls are at school and the baby sleeping I'm trying to update me-knowing-you part of the deal by reading your "100 things.... blah, blah, blah" So far so good, you're a (very-visual) interesting thingy. :)
#6 and #10 Are amazing... you definately need to be enlarging these puppies!
Sexy. HOT. All of them!
Breathtaking, simply breathtaking!!!
6, 7, and 10 are my absolute favorites. These are fantastic! I'm so jealous that you got to shoot these hotties. The lighting is awesome, too. Nice work!
Great work!
Love em.
awesome work .... Love the pictures...
So, I looked at this again and thought "there I am - choosing a favorite that is not anyone else's favortie" It is the story of my life... anyway, I went back to see what it is about #2 I love. and I still fee the same way.
It is artistically superb - the colors, his knee shadowed on the wall repeats the shape of her dress on the curb, the triangle shape she forms is repeated with the angle in the wall behind him, the uneven paint also moves in an angle, he's looking one way, she's looking another... it's just fantastic. It belongs in a haute couture magazine.
Great job with the shoot! Those shots look awesome!
I like your Joe Buissink quote, too! I ask myself that question all the time and figure out how best to convey that feeling through the framing and composition.
Great work!
