LUX 1500 Thermostat LOCKED

When it's chilly, and you can't get your thermostat to work, ordering room service seems like a good idea (although expensive).

If you have a LUX 1500 thermostat and can't get it to work,
it might be LOCKED (as mine was).

Press NEXT three times in a row then press HOLD.

Now we are toasty warm (except that the furnace has to run constantly due to the lack of insulation, of course).

What the heck! Who builds a house with no insulation? Can you still add it?

I mean, why WOULD you insulate a house? It's just a waste! You could use that money to buy...magic beans or something.

thanks for the tip! The thermostat locked up on us and we spent the last week with portable heaters. I felt like we were back in the 1800s with wood burning stoves and thermals.

Thank you so much for the tip ! Our heater just kicked in finally after a week or so of living in a fridge! Thanks again :)

Thank for so much. I was just trying to reset the clock but inadvertently locked the thermostat. Couldn't figure out what's the problem. Tried resetting, changed the batteries, etc. and nothing worked until I figured the thermostat was locked. Did a google search and you gave me the answer. Thanks!!

Never locked before in 10 to 12 years. Spent 20 min trying to unlock. Googled and got your answer and fixed in less than 3 min. Thank you. People sharing is what the internet is about.

Thank you so much, it was annoying for the reset button to not take the lock off. Cheers! :)
