Missionary Pictures

These are some of the boys I teach in Sunday School at church. The first two are in the mission field now and the last one pictured is about to turn in his paperwork to become a missionary. For the class I teach (there are about 6 in there from 16-18, only one girl), I've offered to take their senior or missionary pictures. For payment, I ask that they serve an honorable mission (or if they're not going on a mission, then I just want them to be good kids). The first 2 boys turned in their own snapshots with their paperwork (I was out of town) and I took these afterwards for their plaque that's on display at the church while they're gone for 2 years.

But for this one I took the picture to turn in. The first was our favorite but you gotta turn in a smiling picture so we used the 2nd one.
Nice smiling picture, right? Well, they asked that we do it again and this time have a lighter background, better lighting (who says MORE light is BETTER light? pshaw) and the shoulders need to be visible. Tie me up, why don't cha... restrictions. I wasn't looking forward to how the picture would turn out because I thought it'd end up stale. But I think we did alright (my favorite is the 2nd but he'll turn in the first).

I don't know if I can put my comments here... So you just call me later. Actually, I think I owe you a phone call. That's probably more like it.

Hope you're having fun!

What handsome young men. There will be some disappointed young women in the mission field, I'll bet.

The photos are lovely. I really like the last one.
