Here I am this morning (about 30 minutes ago) in front of one of our original oil paintings. This one is called Figura Entre Pinos and it's painted by
Royo.
Check out CJane's
blog for other blogger self-portraits. Mine was a toss-up between this one and some nudes I tried with my timer. Luckily, you got the better one ;o) If there's enough begging and pleading I might add one of the nudes. MIGHT.
Lovely! Love the paiting, love the pose, love your blog. Your photos are fantastic. I like to fancy myself an amature photographer with absolutly no skill, but I can appreciate talent when I see it. Bravo to you. Bring out the nudes! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat selection. I love all your work.
ReplyDeleteThat painting is amazing! Love this pic!
ReplyDeleteThe painting is divine!! I love the colors. I am also a fan of original art and have only managed one purchase....
ReplyDeleteYou are looking GOOOOOOOOD these days... :-)
How "lucky" for you to own original art! It is beautiful, as are you!
ReplyDeleteI like this picture, too. And, like everyone else, I love your work, too. I'm glad you're playing, too.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a fun eye about you , ma'am.
ReplyDeleteYour Style , Your Grace, It's in all you do.....
I hope those weren't lines from a commercial.
Very lovely. I love the art, it is very complimentary to you.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable. Not one ounce of your crash is visible.
ReplyDeleteI know of the nude you speak!!
Hey thanks for commenting on my blog today! I've actually meant to comment on your blog a many times because I came across your blog through CJane's and wanted to ask you about your photography. I'm curious as to how you entered into the photography world and how you have made so many contacts. I love photography, have done a few weddings, engagements, etc. and would love to become more active in it. Any suggestions, secrets?
ReplyDeleteLOVE your painting and what a fabulous self-portrait... I came to the party...on the day...so I guess not technically late... but afternoonsih... workish. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your compliments and comments! I like playing these kind of games.
ReplyDeleteInspired Simply... you're welcome to email me at lucky red hen at g mail dot com and I'll bore you with the details of my life ;o)
great shot. Love the painting as well. And I agree, you are looking haute.
ReplyDeletehow awesome to have an original...and you look so happy sitting there beside it.
ReplyDeleteyour photos are amazing...i love the one of the couple rolling around in the water. any chance we could take on like that of Ethan and I down by Utah lake?? Just kidding...
Ummm.....YOU are looking so GREAT! I didn't see that one in your house....hhmm....guess it's eclipsed by all the nudies.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. Everyone thinks that by "nudes" I meant that I have nude art but what I mean is that I did a nude self-portrait... but I saved you from it ;o) Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI knew what you were talking about (read:the desert).
ReplyDeleteAs always, finely done (and when I called you this morning it wasn't about the self-portrait, just so you know and one day I will try calling again...)
Hail to the Nude!
Beautiful painting, this picture looks very professional. Oh and you have cute hair!
ReplyDeleteLips
ReplyDeleteAzucar, heck no!
ReplyDeleteI don't care if it's tacky to say this - you have lost weight and you look terrific. (Now I could do the long disclaimer thing about how you were pretty before you lost weight too, and your personality is fantastic and every body form is beautiful and we all change our shapes thorughout our lives, but I won't do that...)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, gorgeous photo and painting. Last year my daughter's art teacher said that out of his four class periods, she was the only person who raised her hand when he asked how many people had original art work in their homes! Now I'm patting you and me both on the back.
About the nude self portrait...c'mon, you're a Harley Girl. How can you NOT post one!
